Opening in partnership with Reliance Egypt, École Ducasse Cairo Studio, is the first campus of the culinary network in the country.

The studio will offer aspiring chefs, pastry experts, and culinary enthusiasts from Egypt and the region an opportunity to master the craft of gastronomy through programs rooted in Alain Ducasse’s celebrated philosophy.

Alain Ducasse shared: “As a fond admirer of Mediterranean culture I look forward to initiating a fruitful dialogue between French and Egyptian cuisine. We are proud to contribute to the blossoming of talents and give Egyptian cuisine the place it deserves.”

This strategic expansion marks a significant milestone for Egypt’s burgeoning fine dining and culinary education sectors. Designed to deliver world-class training, the Cairo Studio will feature state-of-the-art facilities, including advanced training kitchens, pastry labs, and demonstration rooms, ensuring a real-world learning environment for students.

The curriculum will blend technical expertise, creativity, and entrepreneurial skills, taught by a faculty of industry leaders. Courses will range from short-term workshops to intensive professional programs, with collaborations involving local and international chefs, businesses, and experts to provide internships and career opportunities.

Beyond culinary training, École Ducasse Cairo Studio aims to celebrate Egyptian culinary heritage by integrating local ingredients and traditions into its curriculum, fostering a unique fusion of global and regional gastronomy.

Karine Hyon-Vintrou, managing director of École Ducasse, expressed her enthusiasm for the project: “We are incredibly excited to bring the École Ducasse experience to Egypt, a country with a vibrant food culture. Our goal is to provide aspiring chefs and gastronomy professionals with the tools, knowledge, and inspiration they need to excel in the global gastronomical scene. The Cairo Studio will embody the spirit of excellence and innovation that Ecole Ducasse is known for, while also honouring the local traditions of Egypt.”

Moheb Kassabgui, Reliance Egypt director added: “We are very proud to work with chef Alain Ducasse and his team to bring world-class culinary training to Egypt. We look forward to seeing the future generation of chefs that this partnership will create and the positive impact this will have on Egypt’s culinary scene”.
